hi every one,
just wanted to let you know i thought this was a miracle drug
to, but there are so many bad side effects so be careful, i
wont go intoall of them but, one of them i never associated
it with the chantix untill after i quit taking it and other
people said the same thing, severe pain in the knes and legs
and pain in the chest i even went to the hospital for this,
so if you are having this same problem its from the chantix.
any questions about the other side effects just let me know
i was taking it for 18 weeks. started smoking again sad to say.

Hi Generalissimo,
There is no difference in ingrendients between white and blue
tablet. The only difference is dosage. In Pfizer's Chantix
prescibing information is writen: "This dosing schedule
may not be right for everyone. Talk to your doctor..."
So, how you take Chantix depends on how your body responds.
Generally dosing instructions:
- Day 1 to Day 3: 0.5 mg once daily
- Day 4 to Day 7: 0.5 mg twice daily
- Day 8 to end of treatment: 1 mg twice daily
1. Choose a quit date when you will stop smoking.
2. Start taking Chantix 1 week (7 days) before your quit date
(0.5mg). This lets Chantix build up in your body.
3. Take Chantix after eating and with a full glass (8 ounces)
of water.

I was prescribed (by mistake)1mg.
Chantix pills only, without the 0.5 starter
that I should take the first week, The pharmacist said it was
ok to break the 1mg pills in half for use as 0.5...
My question is: isnt this a time release med ? I know that you
don't split those. |

I am proud to say that 2 1/2
weeks of Chantix cured my nicotine addiction. I am now concerned,
however, that I am somewhat moodier than I was when I smoked.
Has anyone else observed this side effect? |

I am also a Chantix user. I
have been quit for 23 days and it has been my easiest quit ever.
I feel this one is for real. Yes, you still need to have the
want to quit, but I have not had the intense cravings with this
med. I do get nauseated if I don't eat something before I take
it, but that is pretty minor. Donna |

I have been using Chantix for
the last 65 days and have been smoke free for 60. I was a 35
year 1 pack a day smoker. I have tried many stop smoking programs
and drugs. This is the first one I really think will work. |

I am hearing all about this
new drug Chantix. One teeny tiny problem. Who is prescribing
it and who is filling the prescription? I went to my MD and
he has not heard of it and needs to read about it and says no
one in any pharmacy he has called has it. I am to the point
of desperation on this. Please advise. |
